Purpose and Goals
The academic needs of all JHS students are a primary concern. To further support the needs of every student, The Eagle Study will offer the opportunity for struggling learners to receive guidance from teachers in a supportive setting. This opportunity can be by invitation for students who have been identified by faculty as needing individualized support outside of the classroom with a core teacher, or students may sign up ahead of time on their own to receive extra support. Please note, this is not intended to be a study hall and all school rules apply.
Parents/Guardians may be notified by their child's teacher if they have been identified as a struggling learner, and the student will be invited to attend. Students will be encouraged to attend on the days appropriate to their needs. Each discipline has an assigned evening, as per the "Teacher Schedule" link.
The Eagle Study meets Monday through Thursday from 3:15-4:15. Please note, The Eagle Study will not meet on early dismissal days.
